CHAPTER 111

111

A STABLE MIND

Now, the media reported that China wanted to use Sri Lankan ports. A Union Minister lamented that China was fishing in troubled waters.

India allowed Sri Lanka to befriend China to secure the support of a veto power. By doing so, India compromised its own ‘National Security’. That phase is over. Now China must reckon the sensibilities of India in this matter.

The public sector Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) decided to invest Re.40, 000 crore in the stock market. The LIC is relapsing into its deviant ways due to the lack of a stable policy. The LIC is doing this to suppress free speech. The decision must be annulled as it is an unconstitutional one.

The LIC could buy shares. But it must invest the money extracted from the Kashmir State in the Companies located in that State only. If the LIC had followed this policy, the SPIC- a private sector Company in the Tamil Nadu State – and the FACT – a public sector Company in the Kerala State - would not have perished. There are two former Chief Ministers of Kashmir in the Union Cabinet. There are some other new members also. This is indeed an opportunity. When they fight for the rights of the people of their States, all others also would get their share of money.

On 18 June, 2009 militant people killed three people in the West Bengal State. They said that they had taken control over 50 villages. Immediately a war started between the army and the militant people. A number of people might have died due to this cannibalism. Yet, the Government did not disclose the grievance of the militant people.

Again on 18 June, 2009 the militant people killed 9 army personnel in the Orissa State.

Sri Lanka gave a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) to a Company of China. India first gave mines to the Tamils. Now India is helping Sri Lanka for its de-mining work. Sri Lanka intends to hand over the de-mined areas to China!

The Supreme Court on 29 June, 2009 directed the UP State Government to give the reason for the policy of spending public money –about Re. 2000 crore- for opening memorials and statues of the past and present leaders. The order came immediately after a Union Minister described the decision of the UP Government as “shame”.

In this connection, it must be noted that the Union Government had taken a decision to give Re. two lakh and fifty thousand crore to two boys. The decision was taken to control the press. This enables the leaders to reserve the front row seats in Parliament generation after generation. This helps the leaders to name the new buildings and schemes after the names of their ancestors. Similarly, the Government hands over the natural resources to private parties to control free speech.

The Union Government on 1 July, 2009 raised the price of petrol. Apparently, this is to send out two or three coalition partners from the Union Cabinet. Therefore, the decision is a political one. It must be noted that the new Union Cabinet did not give freedom to the people to buy and sell kerosene before taking the above decision.

A political leader on 1 July, 2009 said that a separate Tamil nation was not possible in Sri Lanka. He exhorted the people not to fuel the anger of Sri Lanka, lest the Tamils only would be affected. He pointed out that a leader in India had abandoned the demand for a separate nation when he had to choose between the existence of the party and realizing a separate nation. He expressed the hope that one of the Tamils would, one day, become the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka. This is, perhaps, the reply of India to this work.

It is true that India must know its weakness. But India should not fail to realize its strength also. If India wanted FREEDOM to the Tamils, they would get it. Many countries would support India. Even China would not use its veto. In the event of China defying India, the latter would be constrained to cut its relationship with the former. Therefore, Chinese naval vessels could visit the ports in Sri Lanka only with the consent of India.

China had developed friendship with Pakistan when India had no relationship with China. Now China should not think of converting Sri Lanka into another Pakistan.

India depends on China not only for machines but also for toys. Therefore, China would choose either India or Sri Lanka.

Further, FREEDOM - and not the Prime Minister ship - is the end of the State. There is no use in a slave becoming the Prime Minister of a country. India has seen Prime Ministers from North, West and South. But everyone kept the people as mere slaves.

One would say that there are many political leaders. But all are complementary to one another. There are alternatives but no rivals. The political leaders keep their rivals away from the eye of the people by controlling the press. Therefore, the people cannot even think of the rivals. Obviously, the Tamils would get FREEDOM only when the leaders in India get FREEDOM from the manipulators.

Above all, India should not procrastinate to justify the circumstances that forced it to give military training to the Tamils. One would presume that India had sufficient reasons for the same. If India could not tell the real reasons now, it should not hesitate to bring to justice the leaders responsible for the training. India should prove to the world that it did not play the game of children in Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka on 2 July, 2009 described India and China as two tracks on a railway-line running independently. Sri Lanka must run on one line only. It must opt for either India or China. Sri Lanka could kill the Tamils because India wanted it. Now, it must realize that the FREEDOM of Sri Lanka would not be at the cost the sovereignty of India.

The media mafia on 3 July, 2009 disclosed that the Budget to be presented on 6 July, 2009 envisaged the sale of the shares of even unlisted Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs).

In this connection, it must be noted that the Government could not sell the shares of the PSUs mainly because of this work. No Government would repeat it without showing this work to the people. In this matter also, the Union Government has taken this decision to control the press. The Union Government must have a stable policy in this matter.

A member of the manipulation mafia visited the Tamils in Sri Lanka on 3 July, 2009. He described the killings as a rescue effort. When the Indian army started rescuing the Tamils, one of his his papers had described the decision of India as “loss of institutional memory”!

Notwithstanding everything, a man must possess a stable mind. Then only he would do his duty. This is what the sages say.

The facts from 18 June, 2009 to 3 July, 2009 are being submitted to Her Excellency the President of India on 4 July, 2009 through email.
