287: THE PRIME MINISTER OF INDIA: A LOVER OF PRIVATE GAIN?

287

PRIME MINISTER OF INDIA:
A LOVER OF PRIVATE GAIN?

Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, on 25 September 2014, launched the “Make in India” campaign.
As a complementary action, all manufacturing units that perished due to the Chinese onslaught must be revived.

The Prime Minister of India undertook a five-day visit to the USA on 25 September 2014. Before his departure, he described the USA as the global partner of India. He attributed great value to the Indo-US partnership.

Chief Justice of India R.M. Lodha, on 26 September 2014, said that judges should not accept any government position or occupy a constitutional office before a cooling-off period of,  say, two years.
In the present scenario, any post retirement position for judges is a disgrace to the judiciary.
On the same day, he justified the collegiums system of appointment of judges.
The learned judges should not aspire to do anything arbitrarily and truncate the system. They must allow the people to become judges.
Further, he said that he would not accept any post-retirement position.
This must be understood in the light of the chapters 282 and 284.

The New Indian Express, on 26 September 2014, advised the government to auction the coal blocks in a transparent manner.
This shows that there exists a conspiracy to substitute the weaker miners by the stronger class.

Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court, on 26 September 2014, ordered a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) enquiry into the illegal dumping of Chinese crackers.
The CBI is not likely to produce any result within one or two months.

After China, Pakistan media praised India for its Mars mission success. The Dawn considered it as “an example of supreme expertise of Indian scientists”.
This is the first time China and Pakistan selflessly praise India. India must thank them.

The Prime Minister of India addressed the UN on 27 September 2014. He said that India would not talk to Pakistan under the shadow of terrorism. He solicited a global meet on terrorism.

Mr. Anil Agarwal, chairman of Vedanta Resources, on 27 September 2014, said that he would donate 75 per cent of his $ 3.3billion wealth for charity.
He must surrender the BALCO before talking about charity.

The businessmen in the USA, on 27 September 2014, said that they want in India what Indian businessmen want.
Do they want the natural resources and the public money? Do they want to keep the people as animals? These require a constitution that promotes corruption and enslavement.

A Special Court, on 27 September 2014, sentenced Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Miss Jayalalithaa to simple imprisonment for four years and a fine of Re.100 crore in a disproportionate assets case filed in 1996. Besides, special judge John Michael Cunha ordered confiscation of her other assets for the recovery of fine.
Violence followed in the Tamil Nadu State.
No judge can connive at the assets. He did not want riches. He did his duty. However, the grievance of her supporters is that many other political leaders or their clients possess assets like this.
The CBI and the entire system had been remaining as a silent spectator when she amassed the assets.
In this connection, it must be noted that the successive prime ministers give public money to arbitrarily chosen companies under the principle of buying shares. The system has been remaining as a silent spectator mainly because this principle prevails in the soul of the learned judges of the Supreme Court of India.
Is it not a bigger criminal offence? Is it not an unconstitutional act? Is it not abuse of power?
It is not clear whether the present prime minister pursues this corrupt principle or not. However, he must examine it, if he is not a lover of private gain?

286. PRIME MINISTER OF INDIA Mr. NARENDRA MODI: GOOD OF THE NATION OR PERSONAL GAIN?

286.

PRIME MINISTER Mr. NARENDRA MODI:
GOOD OF THE NATION OR PERSONAL GAIN?

India created space history when it placed its satellite - called Mangalyaan Orbital Mission (MOM)- on the orbit of Mars in its maiden attempt. This happened at 7.17 A.M. on 24 September 2014. The USA, former Soviet Union and the European Space Agency had placed their satellites earlier.
Prime Minister of India Mr. Narendra Modi said, “History has been created today. We have dared to reach out and achieve the near impossible. Such great results are possible only due to our dedicated scientists. I congratulate you all.”
Melody queen Lata Mangeshkar considered it as a miracle.
The USA, China, Australia and many other countries congratulated India. China described this as a “Pride of India and Pride of Asia”.
Above all, NASA congratulated the ISRO.
Every Indian is proud of the foresight of the scientists at the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO).

A Supreme Court of India Bench headed by Chief Justice R.M. Lodha, on 24 September 2014, cancelled 214 out of 218 coal blocks allocated since 1993. The Bench granted freedom to the government to auction or hand over to the Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) like the Coal India Limited (CIL). The court did not reveal the names of other judges in the Bench.
All minerals come under a class. The court cancelled coal allocations alone. But, it unequivocally said that the natural resources do not belong to a few individuals.
Auction is an idea in the interest of the stronger class.
Therefore, the people believe that Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi will place the good of the nation above personal gain.

This is letter No. 286.

285: PRIME MINISTER Mr. NARENDRA MODI; A MAN OF WISDOM?

285

PRIME MINISTER Mr. NARENDRA MODI:
A MAN OF WISDOM?

The New Indian Express, on 16 September 2014, congratulated Prime Minister of India Mr. Narendra Modi for his decision to sell 10 per cent shares of three Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs).
The decision had been taken by the manipulators long before the matter went before him. However, this work alone seeks to veto it.

Prime Minister of India Mr. Modi, on 16 September 2014, said that his motto was ‘for welfare of all, for happiness of all’.
Further, he said, “I am a very small man and I live for the small people of this country. I can think small and by thinking small things, I can make people big from these small people and when all these small people become big, then India will develop beyond limits”.
On the next day, he said that the federal system must be protected.
While he talked like this, the public sector Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) decided to buy shares of the private companies for Re.55000 crore in this year.
The LIC extracts money from Assam and hands over it to a few people at Mumbai or London. This is consistent with the policy of Sardhar Vallabhai Patel. However, this is against any federal constitution. In fact, it is like robbing the citizens. The prime minister must tell whether it is consistent with his motto or not.

The President of China, Mr.Xi Jinping, landed at Ahmedabad, on 17 September 2014, on a three-day visit to India. The Chief Minister of Gujarat, Mr. Anandi Patel, accorded a warm welcome to the Chinese leader and his wife at the airport. The Prime Minister of India flew to Ahmedabad to welcome him.
Prime Minister Mr. Modi took Mr. Xi to Sabarmati Ashram.
At the Ashram, both leaders sat on the floor to spin using a Charka. Ironically Mr. Xi showed Indians how to stand on their own legs.
The police personnel concealed the huts flanked on the road to the Ashram with green curtains. Mr. Xi might have noticed it and looked down on India. Why should India hide its real nature even in these matters?
Mr. Modi and Mr. Xi witnessed the signing of three Gujarat centric pacts.
On the next day, Prime Minister Mr. Modi- during his talks at Delhi- requested Mr. Xi to ensure peace at the borders.
Further, he wanted China to work for reducing the trade imbalance.
Mr. Xi agreed to consider the above demands.
12 pacts were signed. The agreements include co-operation in rail sector to increase the speed of some trains. China agreed to invest $20 billion over the next five years.
The manipulators had a scheme to hand over bullet trains to China in the pretext of bidding. However, there was no word about it. This partially saved India from China. Thus, thanks to his wisdom, Prime Minister Mr. Modi won a crucial battle.
However, the manipulators considered it as a bad portent for the nation. Thus, the front page headline news of The New India Express, on September 19, 2014,  was ‘Xi, Modi Make the Present Pleasant, leave Future Tense’.
They said that Mr. Xi wanted to invest more than $100 billion in the next five years. Their message was that India should have accepted Mr. Xi as the guardian of India.

According to some reports, a shipload of Chinese steel arrived at a harbour in India on 21 September 2014.
India releases foreign exchange even to buy banned items from China. Thus crackers and plastic items are seen everywhere. The prime minister could have controlled it. However, he failed to do so. Therefore, steel also is coming.

Prime Minister Mr. Modi said that if India were not a democracy, he –a child born in a poor family- would not have become the Prime Minister of India. The newspapers reported this on 22 September 2014.
The manipulators made him the prime minister because they thought that he is cut out for keeping 1000 million people as animals. So he gives the people a worse life. This makes him an illegitimate leader.
If he considers India as a democracy, he is not going to fight for it. The hapless Indians would continue to remain as animals.
Now, he must speak his mind to his colleagues and to the people.

This is letter No.285.

It is said that a leader of a nation must be a man of wisdom.

284: THE SUPREME COURT OF INDIA: DOWNRIGHT IMPIETY.

284

THE SUPREME COURT OF INDIA: DOWNRIGHT IMPIETY.

A Madras High Court Bench comprising Chief Justice S.K. Kaul and Justice Pushpa Sathyanarayana, on 12 September 2014, ordered an inspection of  mining activities in the Tamil Nadu state. As Mr. Sagayam, an IAS officer, had filed the initial report in the matter, the court asked him to do the job and submit a report within two months.
Curiously, the court did not seek the help of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). It went down as a laudable decision.
In 2010, the Madras High Court  found a difference in the amount exported through different ports and the revenue of the government. Why did the court leave the matter in a half baked condition is not known. However, the judge was not elevated.
Recently, an IAS officer, Mr. Bedi, probed the illegal mining of rare earth minerals. There were reports that he could not meet the miners.
If the court could find out the whereabouts of the proceeds from the exported minerals, all mining activities all over India will come under the government.

The CBI Director, Ranjit Sinha, on 13 September 2014, filed his affidavit regarding the question of meeting questionable people. The media reported that he mentioned the investigation in the Aircel-Maxis deal as proof for his probity.

The Chief Justice of India, Mr. R. M. Lodha, on 13 September 2014, said,
1.     “Nothing shall be done that brings corruption in judiciary.
2.     Corruption in all forms must be eradicated from the judiciary.
3.     Judiciary has an inherent strength.
4.     No effort will succeed in taking away judicial independence.
5.     Independence of judiciary leads to confidence in the mind of the people that it will come to their aid and rescue if any wrong is committed by the executive.
6.     There are people who play trick on judges and are prepared to tempt judges and please them”.

As a reply, it must be stated that the Supreme Court of India exists mainly to help convert public assets into private assets. To this end, it keeps 1000 million people as mere animals. It calls this justice. Actually it is injustice. Thus the court simply commands the people to sing and say the opposite.
Recently, it recruited an accused in its rank without even inviting an application. Besides, it frightened the prime minister and took its pound of flesh. Thus the court has entered a disturbing phase.
Former Chief Justice of India Sathasivam did not respond to hundreds of letters from the President of India. It is nothing but downright impiety to the Constitution of India. Yet the learned judges did not revolt against his appointment as Governor of a State. The tragedy is that they play his part.

This is letter No. 284.

283. PRIME MINISTER Mr. NARENDRA MODI: SINKING DOWN?

283

PRIME MINISTER Mr. NARENDRA MODI:
SINKING DOWN?

The New Indian Express, on 10 September 2014, said that the four organizations empowered to inspect the private companies carry out about 1,75,000 inspections every year. The paper said that it leads to corruption.
Besides using information technology for transparency, the government could deploy inspectors on a permanent basis. Then they would be responsible for the illegalities, and not the companies.
Many private companies would prefer this method provided an option is given to them.
It will create a congenial atmosphere for the companies to grow without any court cases.

The Union Government, on 10 September 2014, cleared the sale of 10 per cent shares of the public sector Coal India Limited (CIL), Oil and Natural Gas Commission (ONGC) and National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC) to fetch Re. 43,000 crore.
There is over Re.6 lakh crore in the Provident Fund.
An equal amount is rotting in the Pension Fund.
The Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) must have a huge amount of surplus money.
The banks are replete with deposits.
The government discourages the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) from doing health insurance and others. Therefore, it finds it difficult to digest its income.
The government is not ready to use any of the above money.
But it wants to hand over this money to private parties. They, in turn, use it to buy the PSUs.
When the government decided to sell the public sector VSNL, the Bank of India (BoI) gave Re. 850 crore to a private company as mentioned in Chapter 8. Later, it bought the VSNL.
As there is no action for such corrupt deeds, the government repeats the same.
If the purpose is to garner money through disinvestments alone, the government could have reserved the shares among the States to avoid the condition mentioned in Chapter 41. It is not ready for it. It simply wants to take away the assets of the people all over India just to give them to a few people at Mumbai or London. This is out and out unconstitutional.
Apparently, the manipulators want to usurp public assets as a reward for the money and publicity given to the prime minister before the election.
“Pain or pleasure” a leader of a nation should not lose his patriotism and sink down.

282. PRIME MINISTER Mr. NARENDRA MODI: LOSING PATRIOTISM?

282

PRIME MINISTER Mr. NARENDRA MODI:
LOSING PATRIOTISM?

Reserve Bank of India Governor Mr. Reghuram Rajan, on 5 September 2014, attributed the poor growth rate of India to two factors. They are: 1.Slow governance and 2.Faulty allocation of natural resources.
Obviously, all patriotic people - from top to bottom - want the government to take over all natural resources. Why does Prime Minister of India Mr. Narendra Modi refuse to listen?

Former Chief Justice of India Sathasivam was sworn in as the Governor of Kerala state on 5 September 2014.
If the present Chief Justice of India also gets a berth like this, one would say that the present prime minister is afraid of the judiciary.

Prime Minister Mr. Modi said that the teachers tirelessly light the lamp of knowledge. He said this in connection with Teachers Day on September 5, 2014.
He said that the professionals should undertake free teaching classes in the nearby schools.
Though it is a digression, it must be stated that the present writer handled may classes at the Vellicode Middle School after his retirement from a college. No other person in India might have done it.
Coming back, the prime minister, on the same day, told the students that he was very cautious with his words, lest they would affect the nation.

The Union Government, on 7 September 2014, said that surveillance at the major coal mines would be tightened to control theft.
All minerals are being thieved. The Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) talks of massive loss as mentioned in Chapter 179. Therefore, the surveillance must pervade all sectors.

The New Indian Express, on 8 September 2014, requested the government to invest part of the Pension Fund and the Provident Fund in the stock market.
This money must be used for bullet trains or for other public investments.
Some people do remove public money through the stock market. It must be reiterated that their assets belong to the government.

Prime Minister of Australia Mr.Tony Abbott and Prime Minister of India Mr. Modi signed the civil nuclear agreement on 8 September 2014, at New Delhi. Under this agreement, Australia would supply uranium to the safeguarded nuclear power plants in India.
It must be noted that India is not a signatory to the Non- Proliferation Treaty (NPT)
Prime Minister Mr. Modi described the agreement as a historic milestone in Indo-Australian relationship. He added that it would open a new chapter in bilateral co-operation.
Before talks Mr. Abbott handed over to Mr. Modi two medieval Shiva statues stolen from Tamil Nadu state and displayed at galleries in Australia.
Mr. Abbott had been given a grand welcome at New Delhi.
He paid homage at Amar Javan Jothi in India Gate in New Delhi.
Besides, he went to Rajghat to pay floral tribute at the Samadhi of Mahatma Gandhi. This work shows that it was a redundant act.

Supreme Court, on 8 September 2014, granted 15 days more to Mr. Subrata Roy of Sahara Company to sell his hotels in London and New York to pay to investors.
Hundreds of entities have escaped with the money of the unsuspecting people. The court must alleviate their sufferings.

The CBI Director, Mr. Ranjit Sinha, on 8 September 2014, told the Supreme Court of India that there were some details in the 2G case. He said that they - if divulged- would seriously jeopardize the 2G case.
Alarmed by his submission, the Bench asked him to file his counter affidavit not openly but in a sealed cover on or before 15 September 2014.
Evidently, the 2G case depends upon an unconstitutional secret. The court should unravel it.

The Foreign Minister of Germany, Mr. Frank-Walter, on 8 September 2014, called on Prime Minister of India Mr. Modi and requested him to deepen the bilateral cooperation in renewable energy, infrastructure, cleaning of rivers, high technology and manufacturing sector.
Prime Minister Mr. Modi is in the enviable position.
Japan is ready to extend technical and operational support for bullet trains. Germany is willing to give fillip to solar energy and heavy industry. He can utilize at least $100 billion of foreign exchange to accomplish everything. No public private partnership (PPP) or financial support from anyone is needed.

The Union Government, on 8 September 2014, decided to make it mandatory for scientists and researchers to undertake 12 hours of free lecture classes in schools and colleges in an academic year. The performance of the scientists and researchers would be evaluated every three years.
It is a laudable decision. The objective could be achieved without spending money.
In order to make this scheme a success, the Government should have simultaneously directed all schools to expose their students periodically to serving and retired college teachers and other professionals.

A Supreme Court Bench headed by Chief Justice R. M. Lodha, on 8 September 2014, indirectly asked the Election Commission of India to do away with booth-wise counting of votes. According to the Bench, this would annul the post-election vindictive approach of the winning candidates.
Actually, the winning candidates find to their great astonishment the support from the hopeless areas.
The suggestion would enable the system to rig the elections convincingly. Apparently, the present Chief Justice wants to hand down to the hapless Indians as many judgments as possible in very bad faith.

The Union Government, on 8 September 2014, requested the Supreme Court to decide the fate of 218 coal blocks. At the same time, it requested the court to arbitrarily retain about 40 coal blocks. It added that that a quick decision would enable it to reallocate them.
The government says that the licences had been granted to A, B and C following well defined laws and those in the hands of X, Y and Z had been granted arbitrarily. It is untenable.
The government should have taken a decision to take over all blocks in supreme national interest. But it dithers. The prime minister should not  lose his patriotism in this crucial matter.

281:PRIME MINISTER Mr.NARENDRA MODI: ENGAGED IN WARFARE?

281

PRIME MINISTER Mr. NARENDRA MODI:
ENGAGED IN WARFARE?

The CBI Director, Mr.Ranjit Sinha, on 4 September 2014, said that he knew Anil Ambani Group for over 30 years and that he met its senior officials several times at his house. He, further, disclosed that he had written some letters to Special Prosecutor Mr. U.U. Lalit. He added that there was a deep rooted conspiracy against him and that he was under surveillance.
The media did not report as and when the officials from some questionable companies met him.
He honours some people and dishonours some others.
In proportion to his power, he is also honoured everywhere. There were reports that even the judges of the Supreme Court stood in a queue at his house during a function.
This is the reason why hundreds of letters go in vain. Many complaints remain useless.
The Supreme Court must direct a law enforcing agency to act on the complaints.
Mr. Lalit is now a judge of the Supreme Court of India. The court must ask him to release all letters he received from Mr. Sinha.

Former Chief Justice of India Sathasivam was, on 4 September 2014, appointed as the Governor of Kerala.
He did not respond to hundreds of letters from the President of India during the stint in the Supreme Court.

The media, on 4 September 2014, reported that some Indian companies had a secret understanding with some Chinese companies long before Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi reached an understanding with Japan for bullet trains.
Usually, the Indian private companies strike deals with China. They, then ask the Government of India to sign the agreements after a pretended negotiation. This is the first time that their plan did not work.
This gives the impression that the present prime minister is waging a war against the scheming manipulators to save the nation from China.
Gita says that a leader will have to be engaged in warfare.

280: PRIME MINISTER Mr. NARENDRA MODI: RENOUNCING PRESCRIBED DUTIES?

280

PRIME MINISTER Mr. NARENDRA MODI:
RENOUNCING PRESCRIBED DUTIES?

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), on 1 September 2014, filed a closure report in its FIR lodged against industrialist Mr. Kumaramangalam Birla. CBI Judge Bharat Paraskar asked the CBI to clarify whether “rule of law” was followed for allocation or not. The investigation officer replied that the special public prosecutor (SPP) alone could give a reply.
There was no rule of law. The Supreme Court of India said it in the coal case.

The government, on 1 September 2014, requested the Supreme Court to spare 40 functional coal blocks from the August 25, 2014 judgement. Chief Justice R.M. Lodha, Justice Kurian Joseph and Justice Madan B. Lokur were in the Bench.
The Supreme Court provided a golden opportunity to Prime Minister of India Mr. Narendra Modi to take over all minerals. However, he renounced his duty.
Even now he can do his duty. Then the GDP would double within a year. There will be a social and economic change.

A Supreme Court Bench comprising Justices Anil R. Dave and U.U. Lalit, on 2 September 2014, declined to give relief to Mr. Mallya of Kingfisher Airlines.
The investigators apply one set of rules to Mr. Mallya and another set to others.
Further, Justice U.U.Lalit had suppressed some pieces of information from the courts before becoming a judge of the Supreme Court. This saved some people.      Is he not an accused person now?

While in Tokyo, the prime minister said, “everywhere around us, we see an 18th century expansionist mind-set: encroaching in other countries, intruding in others' waters, invading other countries and capturing territory".
Referring to Mr. Modi's remarks,  state-run daily of China, Global Times, said, “Japanese and Western public opinion views them as a clear reference to China, although he did not mention China by name.
China's GDP is five times that of India's. Mutual trust between Beijing and New Delhi, facing strategic pressure from the north, is difficult to build as there is also an unresolved border conflict between the two. But India has proved it is a rational country, displaying an independent foreign policy and loath being an appendix of any particular power. Plus, India cherishes peace”.
A paper described any united front against China with India as the centre as a “crazy fantasy”.

Japan pledged to invest Re. US $ 35 billion in a wide spectrum of projects over five years. Besides, Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe expressed his readiness to provide financial, technical and operational support to introduce bullet trains in India.
Five agreements were signed. The two sides decided to turn their “Strategic and Global Partnership” to “Special Strategic and Global Partnership”.
The prime minister said that a special team would be set up at his office in New Delhi to facilitate business from Japan.
Before leaving Japan, the prime minister presented a copy of Bhagvad Gita to Emperor of Japan His Majesty Akihito.
Gita says that a man should never renounce his prescribed duties.

279: PRIME MINISTER Mr. NARENDRA MODI: VIRTUE OR RICHES?

279

PRIME MINISTER Mr. NARENDRA MODI:
RICHES OR VIRTUE?

Prime Minister of India Mr. Narendra Modi arrived at Kyoto in Japan on 29 August 2014. His Japanese counterpart, Mr. Shinzo Modi, received him at the state guest house in Kyoto. The two prime ministers witnessed the signing of a partner city affiliation agreement between Varanasi and Kyoto.
A 20 member team of leading businessmen travelled separately to Japan. Prominent among them were Mukesh Ambani, chairman Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), Kumaramangalam Birla, Gautam Adani, chairman of the Adani Group, Azim Premji, chairman of Wipro, Chanda Kochhar, CEO of the ICICI Bank, Shashi Ruia, chairman of Essar Group, S. Ramadorai, vice chairman of the TCS, Kiran Mazumdar, chairman of Biocon, K. Venkataravanan CEO of Larsen & Toubro Dilip Shanghvi, chairman Sun Pharmaceuticals, D.K.Sarraf, chairman of the ONGC  and Sunil Mittal, CEO of Bharti Enterprises.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), dropped the coal case against Mr. Kumarasmangalam Birla on the same day.
Again, on the same day, the CBI charge-sheeted former Telecom Minister Mr. Dayanidhi Maran and his brother Mr. Kalanidhi Maran for their role in a Re. 600 crore bribe case.
The businessmen are an indispensable part of the nation.
However, they gave money to Mr. Naredra Modi for his election work.
This apparently prevents him from taking any virtuous action.
This shows that virtue and riches will not go together.
