PRIME
MINISTER Mr. NARENDRA MODI:
GOOD
OF THE NATION OR PERSONAL GAIN?
India created space history when it placed its
satellite - called Mangalyaan Orbital
Mission (MOM)- on the orbit of Mars in its maiden attempt. This
happened at 7.17 A.M. on 24 September 2014. The USA, former Soviet Union and
the European Space Agency had placed their satellites earlier.
Prime Minister of India Mr. Narendra Modi said, “History has
been created today. We have dared to reach out and achieve the near impossible.
Such great results are possible only due to our dedicated scientists. I congratulate
you all.”
Melody queen Lata Mangeshkar considered it as a miracle.
The USA, China, Australia and many
other countries congratulated India. China described this as a “Pride of India
and Pride of Asia”.
Above all, NASA congratulated the
ISRO.
Every Indian is proud of the foresight
of the scientists at the Indian Space
Research Organization (ISRO).
A Supreme Court of India Bench headed
by Chief Justice R.M. Lodha, on 24
September 2014, cancelled 214 out of 218 coal blocks allocated since 1993. The
Bench granted freedom to the government to auction or hand over to the Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) like
the Coal India Limited (CIL). The court
did not reveal the names of other judges in the Bench.
All minerals come under a class. The
court cancelled coal allocations alone. But, it unequivocally said that the natural
resources do not belong to a few individuals.
Auction is an idea in the interest of
the stronger class.
Therefore, the people believe that Prime
Minister Mr. Narendra Modi will place
the good of the nation above personal gain.
