THE SUPREME COURT OF INDIA: DOWNRIGHT
IMPIETY.
A Madras High Court Bench comprising Chief Justice S.K. Kaul and Justice Pushpa Sathyanarayana, on 12
September 2014, ordered an inspection of mining activities in the Tamil Nadu state. As Mr. Sagayam, an IAS officer, had filed
the initial report in the matter, the court asked him to do the job and submit
a report within two months.
Curiously, the court did not seek
the help of the Central Bureau of
Investigation (CBI). It went down as a laudable decision.
In 2010, the Madras High Court found a difference in the amount exported
through different ports and the revenue of the government. Why did the court leave
the matter in a half baked condition is not known. However, the judge was not
elevated.
Recently, an IAS officer, Mr. Bedi, probed the illegal mining of
rare earth minerals. There were reports that he could not meet the miners.
If the court could find out the
whereabouts of the proceeds from the exported minerals, all mining activities
all over India will come under the government.
The CBI Director, Ranjit Sinha, on 13 September 2014, filed his affidavit regarding
the question of meeting questionable people. The media reported that he
mentioned the investigation in the Aircel-Maxis
deal as proof for his probity.
The Chief Justice of India, Mr. R. M. Lodha, on 13 September 2014,
said,
1. “Nothing shall be done that brings
corruption in judiciary.
2. Corruption in all forms must be
eradicated from the judiciary.
3. Judiciary has an inherent strength.
4. No effort will succeed in taking
away judicial independence.
5. Independence of judiciary leads to
confidence in the mind of the people that it will come to their aid and rescue
if any wrong is committed by the executive.
6. There
are people who play trick on judges and are prepared to tempt judges and please
them”.
As a reply, it must be stated that the Supreme
Court of India exists mainly to help convert public assets into private assets.
To this end, it keeps 1000 million people as mere animals. It calls this justice.
Actually it is injustice. Thus the court simply commands the people to sing and
say the opposite.
Recently, it recruited an accused in its
rank without even inviting an application. Besides, it frightened the prime
minister and took its pound of flesh. Thus the court has entered a disturbing
phase.
Former Chief Justice of India Sathasivam did not respond to hundreds
of letters from the President of India. It is nothing but downright impiety to
the Constitution of India. Yet the learned judges did not revolt against his
appointment as Governor of a State. The tragedy is that they play his part.
This is letter No. 284.
This letter is being submitted to
His Excellency the President of India, Prime Minister of India, Supreme Court
of India, Chief Vigilance Commissioner, Indian Army and the Indian Air Force,
and posted in the blog: www.howeverythinghappenedinindia.blogspot.com on 14 September 2014.
