THE SENTINEL OF LIBERTY
The last mail was submitted to His Excellency the President of India on
October 27, 2012. The same mail was
sent to the Supreme Court of India, Indian Army and Indian Air Force.
Later, it was sent through post to the President of India and the Chief Justice
of India, and posted in the blog www: howeverythinghappenedinindia.blogspot.com
Sitting
beside Mr. Anna Hazare, former Army
Chief of India V.K. Singh, on 29
October 2012, said that the ruling parties and the opposition parties had
closed ranks to loot the country. He termed the Government as an
unconstitutional one. He disclosed his decision to fight against black money. He
had received hundreds of letters from this writer. Yet, he is behind this
writer by hundreds of letters. However, if he talks like this, the media would
‘strange’ his words.
The Broadcast Editor’s Association, on
29 October 2012, suspended Mr. Sudhir
Choudhary, Zee News Editor, for demanding Re.100 crore from Congress MP and
businessman Naveen Jindel.
Mr. Sekher Basu, Director, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), on 29 October 2012,
said that India had not identified any suitable location for storing the
nuclear waste. The apprehension of the
anti-nuclear protestors at Kudankulam
is justified because the people of one area or other would be affected by the
nuclear waste.
He,
further, said that the nuclear waste would not be radioactive after 300 years.
He should have mentioned the names of the isotopes with half –life period less
than, say, 100 years.
Considering
everything, even the nuclear reactor at Kalpakkam
-near Chennai - must be shut down
immediately.
The New Indian Express, on 4 November
2012, through Mr. Arun Nehru, said
that issues were being recycled from the past for a reaction. He added that
interested parties would give anyone the 'Mahatma' status for taking a stand
against any form of authority.
The
Government of Orissa state, on 4 November 2012, asked the Tata
Steel, Essel Mining, Sarada Mines, public sector Orissa Mining Corporation
and a few other small mining companies
to pay about Re.50,000 crore for illegal and excess mining.
Mr. Niranjan Patnaik, President of
Orissa Pradesh Congress Party, however, said that the demand should have been
for Re.2,50,000 crore.
The natural
resources are the biggest source of black money in India. As the beneficiaries have denied freedom and democracy,
their assets now belong to the people.
In a
public meeting at New Delhi, on 4 November 2012, Congress leader Mrs. Sonia Gandhi quoted the saying, “Those
who dig ditches for others find a well ready for them”. She added that her
conscience was clear.
In the
above meeting, Mr. Rahul Gandhi – her
son - said that the Indian political
system was a closed one for the poor. He added that not even a single political
leader had talked about opening the system.
Here, he played the role of Sentinel
of liberty. This work is the proof for his statement. But, the people did
not understand the meaning of his words.
Earlier, he
had played a pivotal role to give Re. 3 lakh crore rotting in the Provident
Fund (PF) to private parties.
In the
above meeting, Prime Minister Manmohan
Singh said that the FDI would ensure right price for the produce of the
farmers.
The
formers would get 20 per cent more. The customers might get things at 20 per
cent discount. The transporters might also get 20 per cent more. The value of
the property - bought for Re.1000 crore- would become Re.2000 crore within a
span of one year. Their profit could be calculated. Ordinary merchants would be
puzzled. The Prime Minister knows this.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), on
4 November 2012, accused the Paramount
Airways of cheating five public sector banks to the tune of Re.442 crore.
Mr. L.K. Advani, on 4 November 2012,
said that a Mr. S.Ravi – an IAC
activist-should not have been arrested till a court had found him guilty. The
offence committed by him was that he tweeted that Mr. Karthi Chithambaram- son of Union
Finance Minister Chithambaram – had amassed more wealth than Mr. Robert Vadra-son-in-law of Mrs. Sonia Gandhi.
Mr. L.K. Advani must ask Congress leader Mr. Digvijaya Singh to produce the
evidence of corruption against his own relatives before talking anything. The latter had said that the relatives of the former amassed wealth disproportionate to their known sources of income.
Delhi
newspaper Mail Today, on 4 November
2012, reported that Mr. N. R. Narayana
Murthy of Infosys, industrialist Tata, Bangalore based Kasturi Trust and Jagan Nath Gupta Memmorial Education Society had secretly donated
Re.87 lakh, Re.50 lakh, Re.25 lakh and Re.13 lakh respectively between 2008 and
2011 to a trust of Mr. Arvind Kejriwal, then
a member of the Team Anna. Many other
corporate houses, brokerage firms and courier companies had also contributed
money to him. The revelation shows that there is no truce until now between the Zee News and Mr. Naveen Jindal.
The
above revelation is consistent with this work. They gave the money to ‘strange’
this work and similar works, if any, of others.
A two judge
bench of the Supreme Court of India comprising Justices R.M. Lodha and H.R.
Dave indirectly said that the FDI in retail policy must be laid before the
Parliament. The judges are taking a stand similar to the one taken in the “HPCL-BPCL
case”.
The news papers,
on 6 November 2012, reported that the Air India would sell about 175 acre of
its land in Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai airports for about Re.5000 crore.
If the
Government had bought the property, it could sell it. Here, the Government
acquired the property forcefully for a nominal price. Such properties must be
returned to the original owners. The act of acquiring properties today and
selling them to some others tomorrow is bad in the eye of the Constitution of
India.
The Enforcement Directorate, on 6
November 2012, attached properties - worth Re.52 crore - of Mr.Jaganmohan Reddy, son of former Chief
Minister Mr. Rajasekhara Reddy. The
ED also issued orders to attach the properties of Dubai based Emmar Properties and its joint venture Emaar MGF. Earlier it had attached more
than 13 acre of Janani Infrastructure Private Limited and fixed
deposits worth Re. 14.5 crore of Jagati
Publication Limited as “kickbacks allegedly received in lieu of granting
favours” to private entities. Both the above belong to Mr. Jagan. He is now lodged in a prison.
The
people financing Mr. Anna Hazare and Mr.Arvind Kejiriwal send the small
offenders like Mr. Jagan to jail.
The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs
(CCEA), on 8 November 2012, approved a proposal to sell 10 per cent shares
of the public sector Hindustan
Aeronautics Limited (HAL).
The problem - in the question of selling the shares-
must be viewed in the proper perspective.
Many
private companies sold their shares thinking that the shares would remain with
the public. Actually, the shares were cornered by the holders of black money or
their rivals. The latter, in turn, try to control the companies based on their
holdings. Many end up cursing themselves for being born as entrepreneurs. This
is the reason why even the shares sold by the private companies must be
restored from the holders of black money.
This is
Letter No.211. It is said that the Supreme Court must play the role of the Sentinel of liberty. This is important
particularly when the press fails to play this role. This is not like recycling
anything from the past. This is only to say that the present Chief Justice of India
should not hesitate to give answers to the letters forwarded to his predecessor
by the former President of India through the Government of India.
The facts from 27
October 2012 to 11 November 2012 are being submitted to Mr. Pranab Mukherjee, His Excellency the President of India, on 12
November 2012.
The same letter is being sent to
the Chief Justice of India, and the Chiefs of the Indian Army and Indian Air
Force for necessary action.
