CHAPTER 121

121

FOOTSTEPS

The last mail was submitted to Her Excellency the President of India on 2 December, 2009. A Union Cabinet meeting followed on 3 December, 2009. A TV channel sparingly reported this after a few minutes. It said that the meeting was to hike the salaries of the Union Ministers. Thus, it concocted a story within no time. However, other TV channels and the newspapers, as usual, blacked out the Cabinet meeting.

India on 3 December, 2009 openly appealed to Sri Lanka to undertake a review of the ban on 4 Indian Pharmaceutical Companies.
India secretly gave to Sri Lanka warships, gunboats, tanks and other weapons worth more than Re.10,000 crore. Sri Lanka has not surrendered them. Further, India openly donated relief materials besides Re. 1000 crore in cash. Now, if India were ready to give Re. 1000 crore more in cash, it would buy things worth Re.100 crore without any murmur.
Further, the open appeal shows that Sri Lanka is determined to teach one or two lessons to India.

The Chief of the Indian Navy on 3 December, 2009 said that the Navy was fully prepared to avert any threat from the sea. He did not mention anything about the naval bases of China around India.

During a discussion over the Sri Lankan problem in the Upper House of the Indian Parliament on 4 December, 2009 a prominent leader of the opposition party openly acknowledged that whenever they remembered the Sri Lankan issue, they were not getting proper sleep. Many Members of Parliament (MPs) expressed their anguish over the plight of the Tamil animals called tanimals. In reply, the Union Government said that India was keen to find a solution within the framework of a united Sri Lanka.
It must be noted that at least one leader in India openly imposed shame on himself before the suffering tanimals in Sri Lanka. Philosophers say that only a noble man does this. A noble man, instead of putting the blame on himself, does pity at times. In such circumstances, he does not want it known. He preferably does this from a distance.
In contrast, some leaders appear merciful. However, they feel blessed in their pity. They put the shame on others.
In this connection, it must be noted that unity of India is important for world peace. It is not so for Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka could have opted to remain as two countries, not like South Korea and North Korea but like any two friendly countries of Europe.

Now, there were reports that the leader of the opposition in Parliament wanted to relinquish his post.
The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu State also on 5 December, 2009 said that he would leave politics after June 2010.
The Chief Minister could restore the 3.5 per cent reservation extended to a community after showing the seats secured by them in the Government Medical and Engineering Colleges. He could allot a small percentage to various caste and religious groups for still greater social justice. He could extend old age pension to more people above 60, 65 or 70 years. He could give the Central Pay to his employees without delay. However, these are all atoms.
The Chief Minister knows that some private individuals keep separate foreign exchange accounts and not the State Governments. Now, he need not demand it. He could simply give this to the States. Needless to say that there is a mountain of duty before him.
It must be noted that the manipulators in Chapter 1 wanted the former Prime Minister to step down and the latter finally obliged. If all political leaders decided to leave like this, wicked magicians, following the footsteps of the founding fathers of India, would consciously skip the voice of 1000 million people, and continue to sit in the front row of Parliament.
One would say that the former Prime Minister of India also went around the tombs of the founding fathers of India. If he had gone ahead with his decision to use public money for public investments, his actions would have led to FREEDOM. This would have put the founding fathers of India to shame. When the manipulators attacked him as in Chapter 1, he, instead of insisting on being right, joined them to declare himself wrong. Nietzsche says that a man, at times, solves his problems like this –especially when he is right. In this way he also proved that the founding fathers did some good to the nation; carried out the formalities of going around their tombs and reluctantly apportioned public assets among some private parties.
Now, as the Union Government follows the footsteps of the founding fathers, the Chief Minister must do his duty to the nation consistent with the power the people granted to him.

An advocate of a private Company submitted before a three judge Bench of the Supreme Court that another private Company would get a profit of Re. 75,000 crore from a natural resource present in one place alone!

A Union Minister on 8 December, 2009 informed in Parliament that even the first Prime Minister of India sold the shares of some PSUs. He added that the Government was following his ways only. He said that the money so obtained would be spent for social works.
In this connection, it must be reiterated that the Union Government is forbidden from alienating the shares of the Manipur State in any PSUs. Simply because the first Prime Minister of India and the successive Governments served Indians like this, the present Government should not follow their footsteps.

The people possessing the shares of the Companies would not agree with this contention because their wealth would undergo erosion. Therefore, all Union Ministers, possessing the shares of Companies must resign from the Union Cabinet forthwith. A new set of Members of Parliament must run the Government. Alternatively, they could surrender the wealth amassed in this way. Until then all PSUs must be precluded from buying or selling the shares. The President of India could seek the opinion of the Supreme Court in this matter.

A leader of the Congress Party on 8 December, 2009 promised that that he, following the footsteps of the Father of the Nation, would not seek any power. He said that a person from a particular community could become the Prime Minister based on his merits. He added that his sole aim was to make the boys and girls, sitting before him, the future rulers like him. For this,he exhorted them to follow him.
The TV news channel and all the regional news channels of the Government, telecast his speech concertedly. All private TV channels also followed suit. It is customary for the newspapers to publish his visits. He talks the same thing. Yet, he gets this publicity for all his visits. No Union Cabinet Minister gets this for anything. The leaders of the coalition parties, the leader of the opposition party in the Parliament, former Prime Ministers, present Chief Ministers and the President of India also do not get this. The premium he pays to a boy for this is Re. 75,000 crore per year through a wrong production sharing contract alone!
It is pertinent to recall that in Chapter 120, a representative of the manipulators talked about terror on 29 November, 2009. It must be reiterated that he had threatened to eliminate this writer for this work. The above leader was seen listening to his talk with rapt attention. Obviously, he might have told this leader to conceal this work. Therefore, wherever he goes, he carefully conceals this work under his coat. After all, the Father of the Nation also did this! Naturally, the youth of today never gets a chance to form an opinion about any leader in India.
The media does not inform the existence of this work to them because this writer is not following the footsteps of the Father of the Nation.

The facts from 2 December, 2009 to 9 December, 2009 are being submitted to Her Excellency the President of India on 9 December, 2009. A copy is sent through post. The website: howeverythinghappenedinindia.blogspot.com is also updated.
