CHAPTER 167

167
“KILLING NEWS”
The Foreign Secretary of India on 21 December 2010 gave an interview to another TV channel of a mole. In that interview, she wanted India to deepen the trade relationship with China. She did not bother about the vanishing Indian industries due to the imports from China.
She could have advised the Government to ban the imports of - at least - the plastic items and the utensils from China. But she did not do so. She did not worry about the trade imbalance with China at all.
Evidently, China is giving bribe to some Indian manipulators and to their moles. No wonder, many imported items do not contain the country of make.
The present interview of the Foreign Secretary reinforces the conclusion in the last chapter that her talk had an odour of a mole. The Radia tape might confirm this.
In this connection, it must be stated that the public sector TV channel is under the control of the moles. Yet the political leaders and the bureaucrats stand in a long queue to give interview to the TV channels of the well known moles. Seldom have they realized that they extract the things necessary for their manipulation purposes.
In fact, one or two political leaders might have wanted the Government to take over public assets for public welfare. But the newspapers and the TV channels have not published their similar views till date. The present writer alone is harping on this point.
A present Union Minister –in an interview to the TV channel of a mole on 24 December 2010- said that the telephone density of India increased to 61 percent in 2010 due to the telecom policy.
Had the public sector telephone company- the BSNL – been split and handed over to the State Governments as mentioned in Chapter -1, the telecom density might have reached 90 percent. The State Governments would have also got a huge amount of money for public investments.
A judge of the High Court, Delhi was paid Re. 9 crore as bribe. A former IAS officer had said this to Mrs. Radia. Incidentally, the IAS officer is a present Member of Parliament (MP). A bundle of Radia tape released on 26 December 2010 revealed this. This indicates that many learned judges are virtually selling judgments.
If the Supreme Court had wanted, the CBI would have identified the donor and the acceptor of money within 48 hours.
The fact that such bribes take place in India is not the real calamity. The real calamity is the act of ignoring such bribes.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) questioned the former Minister for Communication for 16 hours in connection with the 2G scandal.
Earlier, the CBI on 22 October 2009 raided the headquarters of the Department of Telecommunication as mentioned in Chapter 117. At that time, the above Minister openly said that the 2G spectrum allocations were done with the knowledge of the Prime Minister of India. Yet, the CBI has not questioned the members of the Union Cabinet. In fact, the CBI did not submit the facts to the Supreme Court Bench hearing the 2G spectrum case. This gives the impression that the 2G spectrum case is going on in the wrong direction.
The Radia tape revealed that the top national leaders of the Left parties were maintaining contact with the so-called underground mole. This is consistent with the prediction in the last chapter that the Left parties were the real moles of the manipulators.
The above tape also revealed that the foster son-in-law of the former Prime Minister of India was keeping contact with Mrs. Radia. None denied this. This revelation gives answers to many unanswered questions.
A few chapters from this work were put in the website www.thattan.com on 25 December 2010.
In this connection, it must be stated that even the internet service providers kill news ruthlessly. Thus, the name of the blog: www.howeverythinghappenedinindia.blogspot.com cannot be mentioned under the comment column of any other internet news providers. Anyone could verify this.
The designated Anti-corruption Bureau Court on 27 December 2010 directed the anti-corruption officials to register a case under sections 11, 12 and 13 of Prevention of Corruption Act 420 (cheating), 406 (criminal breach of trust by public servant) and 120(b) (conspiracy) of the IPC and conduct a probe against Mr. K. Rosaiah, the former Chief Minister of Andra Pradesh State for allotting 9 acre of prime land to a private individual.
Anyone going through this work would tell that the Prime Ministers of India sold some properties in a similar manner. But the law does not proceed against him.
In this connection, it must be recalled that the CBI had found evidence of unaccounted money after raiding 60 properties of a former Chief Minister of Jharkhand State. This was mentioned in Chapter 117. What happened to the case is not known to the people.
In such cases, the accused persons must be kept in jail till the final verdict of the case. This is for speedy trial.
The New Indian Express on 28 December 2010 said that the son-in-law of the former Chief Justice of India (CJI) was in possession of assets worth Re. 25000 in 2006. But he had been buying several prime properties from 2006 to 2010.
On the next day, the above paper indirectly said that he was involved in fixing the 7 May 2010 judgment of the Supreme Court. The message is that he would go on getting money from the beneficiaries for many more years because he helped very important persons in India.
Apparently, the former CJI had taken an oath before the President of India to “make hay while the sun shines”.
When a boy submitted that his brother was getting a profit of over $ 16 billion per year from a gas field, the CJI should have verified his statement with the help of the experts from the public sector ONGC and taken over all natural assets. But he did not do so. Instead, he - like a poisonous worm – crawled over the case and killed it with all his poisonous injustice.
The CBI could have questioned the people involved in fixing the judgment. But the CBI did not do so.
The Supreme Court could have directed the CBI to ascertain the facts. But the Supreme Court did not do so.
The former CJI could have given his reaction. But he did not do so.
A judge of the Supreme Court had said –Chapter 79- that the only deterrent was to hang a few corrupt persons from the lamp –post. It is an extreme remedy. The former CJI must be at least charge - sheeted and kept in prison till the final verdict of the case.
The problem is many important persons amass wealth like this.
Thus, a former Union Minister had a net asset of Re.2.5 crore while joining the Union Cabinet. He purchased a Mill mentioned in Chapter 54 for Re.441crore!
The former Union Minister for Disinvestments on 30 December 2010 wanted the speedy prosecution of the accused in the 2G spectrum case.
The above former Union Minister had contacted a public sector bank as mentioned in Chapter 51. He should have been charge- sheeted and kept in jail till the final verdict. But he is above the law. The CBI would question even the former CJI. But it would not go near him. It is a new predicament. Naturally, he would talk like this intermittently.
In his New Year eve message, the Prime Minister of India gave a promise to redouble efforts to clean the governing process.
In this connection, it must be stated that the Prime Minister of India is like a man sitting in an underground cave.
The Prime Minister claims to be the steersman of the nation while true leaders of the nation are called star-gazing useless people. From this predicament the people will never escape until they realize that power is in the hands of the leaders acting in bad faith. If the Prime Minister were ready to give way to knowledge the people would place power in the hands of the leaders capable of exercising power in good faith.
Some political leaders on 30 December 2010 requested the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) of India to substitute Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) by ballot papers. He did not react to their demand. However, he promised to control “paid news”.
In this connection, it must be stated that it is not an era of "paid news" but an era of “killing news”. The CEC knew this.
The political leaders in India have no free existence in an atmosphere of FREEDOM. They exist as stable leaders only by killing news. In order to kill news, there are hundreds of newspapers and TV channels. The manipulators pay them in the pretext of paying for advertisements. This is the modern-day bribe. Naturally, their hired men alone appear as leaders.
Just by killing the news about this work, the manipulators got a profit of about $500 billion to $1trillion in the last nine and a half years. They might have paid about $50 billion to $100 billion to the newspapers and TV channels for this.
Therefore, the CEC must publish this work chapter by chapter in all newspapers and TV channels. The election must be conducted only after the completion of this exercise. This is to destroy the darkness from the mind of the people.
Any other election would not represent the general will of the people. The hired men of the manipulators alone would rule India.
The Union Finance Minister on 2 December 2010 said that the nation lost about $30 billion only due to the 2G spectrum allocation in 2001.
It is said that the darkness born of ignorance must be destroyed with the shining lamp of knowledge.
The facts from 19 December 2010 to 2 January 2011 are being submitted to Her Excellency the President of India on 3 January 2011.
