PRIME
MINISTER OF INDIA Mr. NARENDRA MODI:
REWARD
FOR NEPOTISM
The
Union Cabinet, on 24 February 2016, approved several steps to promote cashless
transaction.
It
must be noted that the money is being siphoned off in different ways without
the knowledge of some unsuspecting Saving
Bank account holders.
Therefore,
the ATM facility alone must be allowed for the debit card of the Saving Bank
account holders.
For
all other online transactions like online buying, every individual must be
asked to use another account, similar to a current account.
This
is to prevent fraud. The system must be quick to understand this.
The
Union Government selected former Chief Justice of India H.L. Dattu for the post of the Chairman of the National Human Rights Commission of India (NHRC). The media
reported this on 24 February 2016.
As
the Chief Justice of India, H.L. Dattu
did not enforce freedom of expression to provide a legitimate government.
Further,
he arbitrarily appointed about 30 judges to various High Courts in one go
before his retirement. All judges are the
friends and relatives of the ruling class.
The
pretext was the 300 vacancies.
He
could have filled up the vacancies through promotion.
He
did not do so.
He
could have waited for the disposal of the judge’s case.
He
did not do so.
Actually,
there was no provocation for the appointment.
Yet
he did it for the ruling class and its confederates.
There
is no other rational interpretation for the appointments.
The
Chief Justice of India holds a highly significant position. His action at a
crucial moment of India went down as nepotism.
All
right thinking people would consider his new position as a reward for his
nepotism.
Though
the NHRC remains as an institution to approve the violations of human rights,
nepotism also is a grave human rights violation.
