CHAPTER 147. FOOLISHNESS

147

FOOLISHNESS

The Union Government on 15 June 2010 decided to sell 10 per cent shares of the public sector Coal India Limited (CIL) and Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL). The Union Government, further, disclosed its intention to sell the shares of many other Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) including Neyveli Lignite Corporation (NLC).
In this connection, it must be stated that a leader had decided to part with the policy of selling shares based on this work –particularly Chapter 41. As the present decision is almost like robbing the dead, she would not approve it.
It must be noted that the right to own property is a legal right of a citizen of India. However, alienating his property just to sell it to another individual is against his fundamental rights. The PSUs are the property of the people and the Government shall not sell them.
Under extreme conditions, the Government, in good faith, could sell them consistent with Chapter 41 of this work. For this, it is imperative that the Government must be a democratically elected one. As the Government did not give FREEDOM to the people before conducting the election, the present Government is not a democratically elected one.
The people of Manipur State have a fundamental right to own a definite number of shares of every PSU. Otherwise, there is no obligation on their part to remain with Indian Union. In order to ensure their fundamental rights, the Supreme Court should exercise its powers at the apt moment. This principle of check and balance alone would ensure decentralization of powers. It is very important because it is closely linked to the UNITY present in the Constitution of India.
However, the Chief Justice of India is not opening his eyes. Nietzsche says that where sleep is the goal, life lacks meaning.
Her Excellency the President of India –with all her legal background – would understand it better.
The paramilitary forces killed 16 militant people, including three women, on 16 June 2010 while they were in their hideout.
It is not customary for the Government to publish the war scenes. However, this time the Government released two pictures through a newspaper on 17 June 2010.
In one picture, it showed a young boy. Excepting for the accident of birth in a tribal community, he would not have committed any crime. His hands were tied to his back. His stomach was empty. Curly hair was unkempt and filthy. He had no shirt. There was no trace of fear or anxiety. However, his gaunt frame seemed to shudder with repressed wrath and looked like a mini David of Michelangelo.
In another picture, the paper showed the dead body of a young girl. Her attire comprised a loose shirt no better than ribbons and poor pants. Her hands were tied with a twine. The legs were also tied together. A wooden pole passed through the chinks of legs and hands. Two soldiers were carrying with difficulty the pole on their shoulders. Her body was hanging upside down; her pathetic face was facing the sky. Her unkempt hair remained tangled giving her an appearance of a hunted hare. As her legs and hands connected the pole, ironically, it looked like a garland - smeared with dirt and grime - made for the above leader.
The above pictures could be printed in the currency notes just to show that the Government is fulfilling the objectives of the so-called Father of the Nation.
Several individuals and organizations are working to prevent the atrocities against women. Many political parties are wedded to the welfare of women. There is a Supreme Court to render justice. Besides, there are State and Central Human Rights Commissions. But, there is no reaction to the dark deed of blood committed by the soldiers. There is not even a demand for a post mortem.
Hereafter, the Government would not release such pictures. However, did the girl kill any one? Did she fight? Was she a helper of the militant people? Did she play any role in the recent train tragedy? Why did she remain in a hideout? Did she demand anything unconstitutional? For whom did she sacrifice her life? Did she threaten the liberty of the above leader? Nothing is known to anyone.
The above pictures show that many forest areas are filled with corpses of soldiers, innocent people and militant people. The air is now reeking with the sickening stench of clotted human blood. The air is also filled with the plaintive cries of some innocent victims including passengers.
In this connection, it must be stated that the Government could kill anyone only after giving FREEDOM to the people. Therefore, all the orders of the Government to kill the people are out and out unconstitutional.
The paramilitary forces do not know that a leader got the mandate to rule India without giving FREEDOM.
Even the fish have the FREEDOM to escape from the net of a fisherman. The above leader is not giving even this FREEDOM.
The above leader knew that her contribution to nation building is not even a fraction of the contribution of this writer. If the Government had given due recognition to this work, this writer would have become dearer to the people than the above leader long ago. But due to her ignorance, she is not giving FREEDOM. Instead she is dousing the whole society into decline. Now, even the women are being murdered in cold blood just for money. The present writer must tell this because no one is coming forward to extricate the people from the present anarchy.
The Prime Minister of India, Minister for Home Affairs, Minister for Finance, Minister for Defense, Minister for Commerce and a few others are foolishly advising the above leader to deny FREEDOM. Her Excellency the President of India must give good advice to her and see that no girl is killed in a similar fashion before giving FREEDOM.
It is said that the action performed in the mode of ignorance results in foolishness.
The facts from 15 June 2010 to 17 June 2010 are being submitted to Her Excellency the President of India on 18 June 2010.
