To
Mr. C. Joseph Vijay,
Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu,
St. George Fort,
Chennai
Respected Sir,
Ref: Petition
No.18631041
The
Government of Tamil Nadu continues to teach wrong English grammar to children.
It
is illegal.
When
a citizen of Tamil Nadu points out an illegality, the Government of Tamil Nadu
must retract from that illegality.
The duty of the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Mr. Joseph
Vijay, is not protecting the standard English grammar from criticism simply
because all educational institutions follow it.
There
is a deeper motive behind this protection. Prime Minister of India Mr.Narendra
Modi conceals 1304 letters. It is understandable because the moment the people
get liberty to see the Letter No.1304, he would resign. The liberty to people
and his resignation will be simultaneous. The majority support in the
Parliament is meaningless.
Being
new to politics and power Chief Minister Mr. Joseph Vijay might have thought
that it is mandatory for a chief minister to abet crime to protect the Prime
Minister of India. Otherwise, he might not have concealed 20 letters
specifically written for correcting a systemic error in English language
education, and substituted an intellectual decision by a political decision.
The
substitution of an intellectual decision by a political decision amounts to
denying intellectual freedom. This shows that he would not allow 80 million
people in Tamil Nadu to survive intellectually.
Whatever
happened, I humbly request Chief Minister Mr. Joseph Vijay to immediately
restrain all teachers from teaching wrong English grammar under any pretext.
I
urge the Chief Ministers of other states and the heads other nations to
restrain all teachers from teaching wrong English grammar.
With respectful regards,
Sabarimuthu Vyakappan,
