PRIME MINISTER OF INDIA:
A LOVER OF PRIVATE GAIN?
Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, on 25 September 2014, launched the “Make in India”
campaign.
As a complementary action, all
manufacturing units that perished due to the Chinese onslaught must be revived.
The Prime Minister of India undertook
a five-day visit to the USA on 25 September 2014. Before his departure, he
described the USA as the global partner of India. He attributed great value to
the Indo-US partnership.
Chief Justice of India R.M. Lodha, on 26 September 2014, said
that judges should not accept any government position or occupy a
constitutional office before a cooling-off period of, say, two years.
In the present scenario, any post
retirement position for judges is a disgrace to the judiciary.
On the same day, he justified the
collegiums system of appointment of judges.
The learned judges should not
aspire to do anything arbitrarily and truncate the system. They must allow the
people to become judges.
Further, he said that he would not
accept any post-retirement position.
This must be understood in the
light of the chapters 282 and 284.
The
New Indian Express,
on 26 September 2014, advised the government to auction the coal blocks in a
transparent manner.
This shows that there exists a
conspiracy to substitute the weaker miners by the stronger class.
Madurai Bench of the Madras High
Court, on 26 September 2014, ordered a Central
Bureau of Investigation (CBI) enquiry into the illegal dumping of Chinese crackers.
The CBI is not likely to produce
any result within one or two months.
After China, Pakistan media praised
India for its Mars mission success. The
Dawn considered it as “an example of supreme expertise of Indian
scientists”.
This is the first time China and
Pakistan selflessly praise India. India must thank them.
The Prime Minister of India
addressed the UN on 27 September 2014. He said that India would not talk to
Pakistan under the shadow of terrorism. He solicited a global meet on
terrorism.
Mr.
Anil Agarwal, chairman of
Vedanta Resources, on 27 September
2014, said that he would donate 75 per cent of his $ 3.3billion wealth for
charity.
He must surrender the BALCO before
talking about charity.
The businessmen in the USA, on 27
September 2014, said that they want in India what Indian businessmen want.
Do they want the natural resources
and the public money? Do they want to keep the people as animals? These require
a constitution that promotes corruption and enslavement.
A Special Court, on 27 September
2014, sentenced Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Miss Jayalalithaa to simple imprisonment for four years and a fine
of Re.100 crore in a disproportionate assets case filed in 1996. Besides,
special judge John Michael Cunha
ordered confiscation of her other assets for the recovery of fine.
Violence followed in the Tamil Nadu
State.
No judge can connive at the assets.
He did not want riches. He did his duty. However, the grievance of her
supporters is that many other political leaders or their clients possess assets
like this.
The CBI and the entire system had
been remaining as a silent spectator when she amassed the assets.
In this connection, it must be noted
that the successive prime ministers give public money to arbitrarily chosen
companies under the principle of buying shares. The system has been remaining
as a silent spectator mainly because this principle prevails in the soul of the
learned judges of the Supreme Court of India.
Is it not a bigger criminal
offence? Is it not an unconstitutional act? Is it not abuse of power?
It is not clear whether the present
prime minister pursues this corrupt principle or not. However, he must examine
it, if he is not a lover of private gain?
This is letter No. 287.
