THE
SUPREME COURT OF INDIA:
SPEAK
THE TRUTH AND PAY THE DEBTS
The
New Indian Express, on 2 June 2015, reported that the Union Government had
begun the process for selling 8 hotels of the Indian Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC).
The government is free to buy or sell
anything.
However, it must give Freedom to
see this work before doing it.
Otherwise, it is unconstitutional.
The government sells these to make a
section of the people happy.
Commission is an associated factor.
If a man snatches the chain of a
woman, the people see the victim.
They sorrow at the victim.
The victim lodges a complaint.
The police take action.
What happens when the Prime Minister takes away another’s
property?
The people are the victim.
All are equally affected.
They think that there is no way to
escape from the predicament.
When they experience some comforts,
they simply tend to ignore it.
The President of India communicates
the sorrow, if any, to the government and the Supreme Court of India.
It causes some revulsion at the
top.
But the plunder goes on in a
subdued way.
Experience shows that the Supreme
Court of India does not prevent it effectively.
How to prevent it?
Freedom is the way to prevent it.
Constitution of India mandates the
Supreme Court to enforce freedom of expression.
This means that the people must
hear others according to their degree.
How do the judges know this?
If they come to know about a work
or a person by virtue of their official position, the people all over India
must know this.
Why is it so important?
Then only "they will speak the truth
and pay their debts".
